"The Kiss" is the first in a new group of paintings I call, "The Big Cloud Series". It is an oil on a baked enameled archival surface called Dibond. The scene is from this past summer after an early dawn storm. As the sun was coming up, the sky cleared and the view was spectacular. In this picture the clouds almost touch each other, creating an anticipation of a beautiful, atmospheric kiss as the light reflects down into the water.
