The Merritt Parkway Series
2010 was the 70th anniversary of the completion of the Merritt. It is a Connecticut historic landmark and recently became one of ninety-three World Monuments now on the "World Monument Watch List", which is a protective world alert.

The Merritt has an old world charm and feel that few roads possess. I have traveled it throughout my lifetime and greatly enjoy viewing its bridges, pines, and scenery. Driving takes you so quickly from one view to the next so I wanted to capture some of the scenes on the Merritt as well as convey the feelings, moods, and sensations we all experience while motoring.
