Oil and Pastel Paintings
Welcome to my website. I happily invite you to browse through my paintings. I paint mostly in oil and pastel on a variety of surfaces. I recently completed a group of paintings of The Merritt Parkway and have began a new one called, "The Big Cloud Series".
The current image here is entitled, "The Kiss", one in a new group of paintings I call, "The Big Cloud Series". It is an oil on a baked enameled surface called Dibond. The scene is from this past summer after an early dawn storm. As the sun was coming up, the sky cleared and the view was spectacular. In this picture the clouds almost touch each other, creating an anticipation of a beautiful, atmospheric kiss as the light reflects down into the water.
